But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofil Gorzkiewicz couldn't finish the play. Adrián Espadas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrián Espadas in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferdinand Joldea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute of the match Soroca F.C. got a corner. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustavo Tartalo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Zézinho Neiva heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 31st minute of the game Cyprien Combaz made a throw-in which Adrián Espadas played forward. Teofil Gorzkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Dan Wennerqvist made a huge save. Ferdinand Joldea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 43rd minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofil Gorzkiewicz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Amador Venceslao got a free kick in the 50th minute. A hard shot 53 in the game by Adrián Espadas from a close distance when the talented Ferdinand Joldea managed to make a qualified save. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s players were relieved. 54 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Yang Sang Qian came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Diogo Faria was substituted for Teofil Gorzkiewicz. TIMETER EC -DMZ- made a substitution. Fance Salisbury replaced Roger Freire. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Guilherme Félix was substituted for Yang Sang Qian. 62 minutes into the game, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Diogo Faria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Wennerqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ferdinand Joldea came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula. But to his dismay, Răzvan Necula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 73 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinand Joldea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ferdinand Joldea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ferdinand Joldea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Faria came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Quilino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferdinand Joldea having to make a save. Soroca F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
