In the 14th minute Iago Bala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panagiotis Stamatas. 25 minutes into the game, America Futebol Clube SP's Iago Bala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Hidalgo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 28 played minutes America Futebol Clube SP got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Xavier. A collision led to Velho Barreiro FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ferid Eker hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Iago Bala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Hidalgo. Velho Barreiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iago Bala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When Iago Bala came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the America Futebol Clube SP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iago Bala couldn't finish the play. Stefan Rasiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half America Futebol Clube SP were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Rico in the 53rd minute of play forced Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Iker Hidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Arthur Laguna almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo did a great save. America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferid Eker in the 58th minute of play. America Futebol Clube SP's Maksymilian Sobczak was substituted for Fabiano Monteiro. 白浩南 made in the 64th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bai Ang however managed to control. In the 66th minute Zico Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rasiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeronimo Rico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iker Hidalgo. That made the score 1-5 in the 69 minute of play. Iker Hidalgo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeronimo Rico went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Jeronimo Rico might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Hidalgo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeronimo Rico ran back to his position shaking his head. After 84 minutes, 白浩南 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velho Barreiro FC and the America Futebol Clube SP players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, 白浩南 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Gaúcho succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-6. Iker Hidalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Rico in the 97th minute of the match. The America Futebol Clube SP supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing America Futebol Clube SP would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
