Mané Lara scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iker Hidalgo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferid Eker got free with Borys Gruchacz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th match minute, Joinville United - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evgeniy Bakov to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Velho Barreiro FC's Bai Ang dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Elberg As fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Hidalgo having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Cardozo came free, but Iker Hidalgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naldo Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Borys Gruchacz made a huge save. Mané Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Hidalgo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mané Lara to make the kick off. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Didi Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Guerra came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borys Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Galo in the 58th minute of the match. Borys Gruchacz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferid Eker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borys Gruchacz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferid Eker in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Joinville United - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Didi Cardozo hit a great ball. Velho Barreiro FC made a substitution. Leonardo Gaúcho replaced Ferid Eker. Joinville United - FSCMZ made a substitution. Maurício Donatello replaced Mané Lara. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Alesandro Coutinho was substituted for Elberg As. The crowd rose to their feet as Joinville United - FSCMZ's Maurício Donatello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iker Hidalgo. That made the score 1-2 after 77 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zico Galo in the 80th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo got control of the ball when Lennart Khan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Alesandro Coutinho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alesandro Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Iker Hidalgo made a huge save. Borys Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 94 played minutes Velho Barreiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Guerra. Maurício Donatello took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Hidalgo. Iker Hidalgo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Joinville United - FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Joinville United - FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
