Hansjörg Wastl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Lara in the 9th minute of the match. Didi Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hansjörg Wastl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Didi Cardozo ran back to his position shaking his head. Mané Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes of play, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hansjörg Wastl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henrique Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Borys Gruchacz having to make a save. When Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 36th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hansjörg Wastl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Lara in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Felippe Pitta hit a great ball. Hansjörg Wastl stood somewhat misplaced when Mané Lara came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 46 minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrique Borges to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Paolo Argi got a free kick in the 51st minute. Prospero Perfecto kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Joinville United - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Valdemar Tepedino replaced Felippe Pitta. Alesandro Coutinho struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Hansjörg Wastl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Maurício Donatello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hansjörg Wastl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Hansjörg Wastl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alesandro Coutinho in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hansjörg Wastl saved Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ from getting behind. If Alesandro Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
