Armindo Maltez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Takeshi Schims showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Nuno Cunha notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez. Ponte do Carro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0.
