In the 2nd minute of the game Remzi Bozlak made a throw-in which Pascoal Espírito Santo played forward. A collision led to Machados FC V2 getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Remzi Bozlak hit a great ball. Quintino Carvalhais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rodrigo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Valdomiro Lira hit a great ball. Remzi Bozlak hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Iurie Cobzar hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Lima acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from André Jordão. Aristides Henry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Zigmantas Gimbutas came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Grzegorz Piesciuk in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SC Braga's Amado Parente. Grzegorz Piesciuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Antonio Adán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Jordão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Lima made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Quintino Carvalhais sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristides Henry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Amado Parente hit a great ball. SC Braga's Geraldo Lucas was substituted for André Jordão. Machados FC V2's Enzo Soveral was substituted for Enzo Quintas. SC Braga made a substitution. Antonio Cieri replaced Quintino Carvalhais. Machados FC V2's Paul Levițchi was substituted for Grzegorz Piesciuk. After 58 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Lu Xun Lei. Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 61st minute of play. SC Braga were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Machados FC V2's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Charl De Metser took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Henry in the 65th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Aristides Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Adán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Lima came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson. But to his dismay, Stig-Åke Mattsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 84 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Mattsson came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Aristides Henry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Antonio Adán was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Antonio Cieri took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Lima. Rodrigo Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
