With a little luck, Sporting DoutroMundo's Dimas Nunes got control of the ball when Nuno Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dimas Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Bomba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermínio Bomba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Dimas Nunes made a huge save. 17 minutes into the game, Nuno Cunha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dimas Nunes. Nuno Cunha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Dimas Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sporting DoutroMundo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Nuno Cunha scored to the left of an out of position Dimas Nunes, making the score, 3-0. With an all-out effort, Valadas's Dimas Nunes threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hermínio Bomba, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sporting DoutroMundo's Dimas Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting DoutroMundo from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Valadas's zone, Durval Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel came out of the goal and Durval Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Manuel Valido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sporting DoutroMundo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 48 minutes, Valadas's Leal Malafaia got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dimas Nunes. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Durval Fantini to strike the kick off in the second half. Tarcísio Malta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Valadas booed when Sporting DoutroMundo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcísio Malta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimas Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Valente in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Tarcísio Malta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Ricardo Valente notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Sporting DoutroMundo's Dimas Nunes. Dimas Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dimas Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Bomba in the 74th minute of the match. Valadas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hermínio Bomba in the 75th minute. Hermínio Bomba made a great header on Valadas's corner, it was just that Sporting DoutroMundo's Dimas Nunes managed to reach the ball for a save. After 76 minutes Sporting DoutroMundo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hermínio Bomba who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Valadas's Hermínio Bomba to fire away a dangerous shot which Dimas Nunes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dimas Nunes came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Valadas's Ricardo Valente. But to his dismay, Ricardo Valente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 84th minute Takeshi Schims shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimas Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimas Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takeshi Schims, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermínio Bomba struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Dimas Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valadas. After some careless play in the Sporting DoutroMundo defense, Ricardo Valente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimas Nunes. The Sporting DoutroMundo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimas Nunes should have stopped the shot. Valadas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
