Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrique Candal in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eurico lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sabino Vilhena struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Eurico lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matos Velhos. Álvaro Semedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Vito de Godoi made a huge save. Álvaro Semedo scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vito de Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vito de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Álvaro Semedo in the 17th minute. Eurico lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Gentil in the 19th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, FC Beatriz 08's goal looked a bit too open when Sabino Vilhena came free, but Eurico lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Böcklund in the 28th minute of play. Eurico lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Gentil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Yan Feng in the 40th minute of the match. Eurico lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Gentil's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Álvaro Semedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Vito de Godoi made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Sabino Vilhena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Eurico lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Gentil in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Beatriz 08's Eurico lago got control of the ball when Júlio Gentil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Lisandro Fagundes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eurico lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Fagundes in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Rui Eanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matos Velhos's Lee Beckford was substituted for Henrique Candal. Rui Eanes kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Matos Velhos's Lee Beckford got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eurico lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Gentil, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Eurico lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Nietlisbach in the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Matos Velhos getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lisandro Vigil hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepe Bomba in the 76th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Karl Nietlisbach put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eurico lago. Eurico lago came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Matos Velhos's Júlio Gentil. But to his dismay, Júlio Gentil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 85th minute, Rodrigo Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, FC Beatriz 08's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Gentil came free, but Eurico lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match, Júlio Gentil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eurico lago saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 92nd minute, Matos Velhos's Lisandro Vigil seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lisandro Vigil the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Matos Velhos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lisandro Vigil had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Matos Velhos:s Vito de Godoi showed great skill when he stopped Samuca Britto:s penalty. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Matos Velhos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
