KINGS FC's Leal Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Faria in the 21st minute of play. Leal Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Lixandro's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Szumlanski in the 33rd minute of play forced Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jānis Blūms in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Qiu Chuan Ran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Qiu Chuan Ran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jānis Blūms's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran got control of the ball when Zoltán Tálas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Faria. After 44 played minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Menelaos Damianos. Acun Mertkal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qiu Chuan Ran having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Zoltán Tálas made the kick off in the second half. Qiu Chuan Ran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Tálas, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoltán Tálas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoltán Tálas in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Qiu Chuan Ran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Raimundo Ventura was substituted for Claudemiro Madureira. KINGS FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cássio Calçada took the corner. The corner led KINGS FC's Cássio Calçada to fire away a dangerous shot which Qiu Chuan Ran despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gonzalo Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Jānis Blūms notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Qiu Chuan Ran. Qiu Chuan Ran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manuel Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The long shot by Rodolfo Faria in the 95th minute really tested Leal Simões's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KINGS FC.
