In the 24th minute Joaquim de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zajonc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes in the game Mattias Jonasson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luís Caeiro. In the 32nd minute, Cai Yuan Yuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZ Fénix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim de Barros made a kick off. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Cai Yuan Yuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Salgado should have stopped the shot. After 60 minutes of play, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 63rd minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Cai Yuan Yuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZ Fénix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the VB-Team players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MZ Fénix.
