Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Argir Fikov in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Radcliffe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Roger Lamb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tencho Mihalev in the 31st minute of play forced T H F C's goalkeeper Dan Radcliffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddie Bloom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ged Pope in the 51st minute of play forced Laziali's goalkeeper Nikola Drinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Dane Wardell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The T H F C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blagoy Dabizhev in the 59th minute of play forced T H F C's goalkeeper Dan Radcliffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Radcliffe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tencho Mihalev in the 72nd minute of the match. T H F C's Dan Radcliffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tencho Mihalev in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, T H F C's Reuben Howarth got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Laziali's goal looked a bit too open when Dion Kerridge came free, but Nikola Drinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 90 in the game by Hristofor Ikonomov from a close distance when the talented Dan Radcliffe managed to make a qualified save. T H F C's players were relieved. In the 94th minute of the match, Vaklin Zhablyanov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dan Radcliffe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Laziali eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
