A collision led to -BZF- Valea Buzăului getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Leontin Stegaru hit a great ball. In the 7th minute Aristide Nichita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Ghionescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of -BZF- Valea Buzăului booed when The Valar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Ungur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sorin Răduța's late challenge caught a -BZF- Valea Buzăului's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Dăscălescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manole Tăcutu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Virgil Meleșcanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 58 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as The Valar's Virgil Meleșcanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manole Tăcutu. That made the score 1-2 after 77 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Nichita in the 84th minute of play forced The Valar's goalkeeper Francisc Ghionescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute of the match, Damian Dăscălescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manole Tăcutu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
