Spectators: 438 (Terracing: 329, Seating: 101, VIP seats: 8) -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Aristide Nichita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes -BZF- Valea Buzăului got a freekick which was hit by Costică Stoleru. After 5 played minutes, The Valar's Horia Boerescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manole Tăcutu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Valar reached it. Francisc Ghionescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Nichita in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Stegaru to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Horia Boerescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manole Tăcutu skillfully saved the ball. Olimpiu Postelnicescu hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Ioanițiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisc Ghionescu was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Dăscălescu in the 22nd minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Manole Tăcutu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Olimpiu Pascu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of The Valar booed when -BZF- Valea Buzăului was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Stegaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgil Meleșcanu got free with Manole Tăcutu in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Francisc Ghionescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Ioanițiu in the 55th minute. In the 58thth minute of the game Stelian Ungur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Manole Tăcutu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Dăscălescu in the 59th minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Manole Tăcutu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Olimpiu Postelnicescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Manole Tăcutu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosmin Galiceanu during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cosmin Galiceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Manole Tăcutu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Meleșcanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cosmin Galiceanu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. Cosmin Galiceanu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Virgil Meleșcanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Tăcutu having to interfere. Francisc Ghionescu was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Aristide Nichita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aristide Nichita really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. If Virgil Meleșcanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgil Meleșcanu in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manole Tăcutu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Virgil Meleșcanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manole Tăcutu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The Valar's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
