Spectators: 397 (Terracing: 299, Seating: 91, VIP seats: 7) 1-0 became the score in the 4th minute when Remus Nuțu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of -BZF- Barca de Buzau booed when Poli Iași was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergiu Gherguț didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Taşcu to maneuver through the defense. Mihai Bogdănescu came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Sebastian Purje. But to his dismay, Sebastian Purje quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 16 minutes into the game, Daniel Peter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poli Iași's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Barca de Buzau the free kick. Daniel Peter kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Daniel Peter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horaţiu Nițoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Daniel Peter hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Olimpiu Luca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Daniel Peter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horaţiu Nițoi. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Peter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A collision led to Poli Iași getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Adrian Elian hit a great ball. Horaţiu Nițoi made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Daniel Peter sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

-BZF- Barca de Buzau made a substitution. Valeriu Băcioiu replaced Șerban Bălcescu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remus Nuțu was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Remus Nuțu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poli Iași's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remus Nuțu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Liviu Răuţă's late challenge caught a Poli Iași's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liviu Răuţă helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Răuţă. Mihai Bogdănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Taşcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd match minute, Poli Iași was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Armeanca to maneuver through the defense. Mihai Bogdănescu came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Ovidiu Pătrașcu. But to his dismay, Ovidiu Pătrașcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With a little luck, Poli Iași's Mihai Bogdănescu got control of the ball when Iulian Taşcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iulian Taşcu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihai Bogdănescu having to make a save. Liviu Răuţă scored 3-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihai Bogdănescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Purje kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of -BZF- Barca de Buzau booed when Poli Iași was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Elian didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Iulian Taşcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Panait Vochin from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Mihai Bogdănescu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 94 minutes into the match, Poli Iași's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Pătrașcu came free, but Mihai Bogdănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Liviu Răuţă got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Liviu Răuţă off the ground. After 97 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Răuţă. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
