Poli Iași's Mihai Bogdănescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Poli Iași from getting a goal against them. Horia Armeanca hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Basarab Achimescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Sebastian Purje lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Mihai Bogdănescu. After 21 minutes, Codruț Ichimescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Barca de Buzau and the Poli Iași players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Ichimescu to maneuver through the defense. The -BZF- Barca de Buzau fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Iulian Taşcu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Horaţiu Nițoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Luca in the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Poli Iași's Mihai Bogdănescu got control of the ball when Sebastian Purje tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mihai Bogdănescu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Iulian Taşcu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Iulian Taşcu's late challenge caught a Poli Iași's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iulian Taşcu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to -BZF- Barca de Buzau getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Iulian Taşcu hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Sebastian Purje was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poli Iași the free kick. Mihai Bogdănescu came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Sebastian Purje. But to his dismay, Sebastian Purje quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Mihai Bogdănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Taşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sergiu Gherguț made the kick off in the second half. Mihai Bogdănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Taşcu in the 54th minute of play. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Sebastian Purje sped through Poli Iași's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihai Bogdănescu. Horaţiu Nițoi made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Sergiu Gherguț sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the game, Iulian Taşcu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Mihai Bogdănescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Taşcu in the 73rd minute of play forced Poli Iași's goalkeeper Mihai Bogdănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihai Bogdănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Taşcu in the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Horaţiu Nițoi got control of the ball when Sergiu Gherguț tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Iulian Taşcu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihai Bogdănescu was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Daniel Peter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Liviu Răuţă sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihai Bogdănescu skillfully saved the ball. Mihai Bogdănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Taşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Taşcu. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. -BZF- Barca de Buzau had played much better football throughout.
