After 10 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Asklöv. Rıza Vuralhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Bernini in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan got control of the ball when Kevin Bernini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rıza Vuralhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Bonet in the 16th minute of the match. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argyris Papapetrou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Antti Ani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Øverås saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 28th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daustad's Jo Øverås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Beck in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charlie Beck to make the kick off. Argyris Papapetrou came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jo Øverås could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Bernini in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rıza Vuralhan saved Strömsbro IF from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Luis Bonet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jo Øverås made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 64th minute. Daustad's Mats Bentsen got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jo Øverås made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Beck in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Beck in the 75th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jo Øverås was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Argyris Papapetrou showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 77 minute of play. Bo Harman hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Bernini in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Bernini came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Peng Song Ting. Argyris Papapetrou came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jo Øverås could save by the left post.
