The The Shadows fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when The Shadows's Niklas Lundqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rıza Vuralhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Holmgren in the 14th minute of the match. Marcos Basso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Beck in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, The Shadows's Marcos Basso got control of the ball when Argyris Papapetrou tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Strömsbro IF's corner Mao Jun Yun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Basso quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Hamid Dame hit a great ball. Marcos Basso made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Emil Billing sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Argyris Papapetrou. 33 minutes into the game, Georg Glad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strömsbro IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Shadows the free kick. The supporters of The Shadows booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Glad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mao Jun Yun to maneuver through the defense. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ni Zhen Ying in the 43rd minute of play. The Shadows's Marcos Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 48th minute of play. After the first half The Shadows were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Niklas Lundqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rıza Vuralhan was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 55th minute, Argyris Papapetrou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Basso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 57 minutes into the game, Herbert Holmgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rıza Vuralhan. Herbert Holmgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Charlie Beck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strömsbro IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Charlie Beck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Basso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Charlie Beck came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Strömsbro IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Beck couldn't finish the play. The Shadows's Slawomir Cisek was substituted for Berndt Edelweiss. Rıza Vuralhan was a little too slow when Herbert Holmgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-4. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Rıza Vuralhan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 75 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Argyris Papapetrou came free, but Marcos Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Basso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute The Shadows were awarded a corner. Herbert Holmgren went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led The Shadows's Herbert Holmgren to fire away a dangerous shot which Rıza Vuralhan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 87th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Niklas Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıza Vuralhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niklas Lundqvist in the 93rd minute of play. Lukas Hallgren hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
