The supporters of Deportivo Empate booed when Chuquisaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fraco Abel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristoffer Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Soroka in the 11th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Werner Colvin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chuquisaca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some careless play in the Deportivo Empate defense, Werner Colvin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristoffer Martinsson. The Deportivo Empate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristoffer Martinsson should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Werner Colvin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristoffer Martinsson was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. With 32 minutes on the clock, Benet Hierro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Empate! Kristoffer Martinsson had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Vicemte Abancens's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Ingmar Wiman notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Chuquisaca's Fabrizio Catapano. Fabrizio Catapano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, Ingmar Wiman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

In the 51st minute, Anier Maidana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Werner Colvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Deportivo Empate got a freekick which was hit by Nickolai Skivild. 80 minutes into the match, Werner Colvin notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Deportivo Empate's Kristoffer Martinsson. Kristoffer Martinsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Werner Colvin in the 85th minute of play forced Deportivo Empate's goalkeeper Kristoffer Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Chuquisaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Colvin to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Empate's Kristoffer Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Werner Colvin in the 93rd minute of play. With a little luck, Chuquisaca's Fabrizio Catapano got control of the ball when Evrosi Kalmushki tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute, Cyprian Soroka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chuquisaca fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Empate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
