The ball had pretty good speed, but Rui Figueiras firmly grabbed it by the left post. 10 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adam Mukengechay came free, but Rui Figueiras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Figueiras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Figueiras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicky Stapleton in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Dante in the 22nd minute of play forced DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Rui Figueiras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Town's Tyrone Fowler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Alves in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Sean Egan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Figueiras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Figueiras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicky Stapleton in the 28th minute. Rui Figueiras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Egan in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Charles Town's João Dante got a free kick in the 30th minute. DALO S.C.'s Rui Figueiras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Dante in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd play minute João Dante came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rui Figueiras. 1-0. Nicky Stapleton's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Rui Figueiras skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 44 in the game by Nicky Stapleton from a close distance when the talented Rui Figueiras managed to make a qualified save. DALO S.C.'s players were relieved. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Loco Alves made the kick off in the second half. Rui Figueiras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky Stapleton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Charles Town's zone, Putte von der Putten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyrone Fowler came out of the goal and Putte von der Putten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Charles Town's Igor Czciborek got a free kick in the 54th minute. Charles Town's Paşa Işıklı was substituted for Jose Manuel Adan. Rui Figueiras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Stapleton in the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to DALO S.C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lode Van Hemel hit a great ball. Lode Van Hemel kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Nicky Stapleton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Stapleton came free, but Rui Figueiras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Putte von der Putten came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the DALO S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Putte von der Putten couldn't finish the play. Rui Figueiras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sid Gentry went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. DALO S.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
