The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Nordin got free with Pedro Paulo Barreto in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Lupu in the 35th minute of play forced Branco FC's goalkeeper Aaron Inge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Jatsu might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aaron Inge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casimiro Jatsu ran back to his position shaking his head. Airborne FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Branco FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Horia Lupu took the corner. The corner ended in Sven Lind almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Branco FC's Aaron Inge did a great save. Pedro Paulo Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mitch Dekens in the 44th minute. Branco FC's Aaron Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Lupu in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Jatsu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Casimiro Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Casimiro Jatsus short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Aaron Inge to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The corner ended in Marcos Linares almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Branco FC's Aaron Inge did a great save. Aaron Inge made an important save on a dangerous shot by César Sampaio in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Branco FC's goalkeeper Aaron Inge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Airborne FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Horia Lupu in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Casimiro Jatsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Airborne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Jatsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Inge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aaron Inge was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Casimiro Jatsu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 93 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Clemente Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The Branco FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Airborne FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Airborne FC.
