In the 3rd match minute, Slipmaskinerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sungurhan Buminhan to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Willmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Zorion Carić made a huge save. Zorion Carić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andras Gafus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slipmaskinerna's Zorion Carić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Slipmaskinerna from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute Peanut Lord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heinz-Gerd Bonin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Styrbjörn Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heinz-Gerd Bonin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Zorion Carić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andras Gafus, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peanut Lord in the 28th minute of play. Marcus Willmann's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zorion Carić firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Slipmaskinerna's zone, Matti Erkiner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zorion Carić came out of the goal and Matti Erkiner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Slipmaskinerna's Styrbjörn Nilsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adriano Görlitz, made in the 35th minute of the game. Slipmaskinerna's Gust Rammer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adriano Görlitz in the 36 minute of the game. Zorion Carić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matti Erkiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Slipmaskinerna's Peanut Lord sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heinz-Gerd Bonin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcus Willmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zorion Carić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Willmann ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Slipmaskinerna were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uwe-Jens Röttger to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe-Jens Röttger in the 51st minute of play forced Slipmaskinerna's goalkeeper Zorion Carić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slipmaskinerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Styrbjörn Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Peanut Lord notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin. Heinz-Gerd Bonin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Heinz-Gerd Bonin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Styrbjörn Nilsson in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Adriano Görlitz hit a great ball. Slipmaskinerna's Antonin Laruelle was substituted for Peng Yao. After 94 minutes of play, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Uwe-Jens Röttger made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zorion Carić was left in no man's land by his defense there! The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.

99 minutes into the match, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goal looked a bit too open when Mastur Bates came free, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mastur Bates took the ball and in the 101 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heinz-Gerd Bonin. Heinz-Gerd Bonin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The Slipmaskinerna players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
