The supporters of Granville booed when Golden State Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nélson Vilas Boas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Golden State Warriors's Lisandro Castelo Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Théophile Porter in the 19th minute of play. Nélson Vilas Boas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Lisandro Castelo Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Théophile Porter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 22 in the game by Vivaldo Pimenta from a close distance when the talented Cyril Champagne managed to make a qualified save. Granville's players were relieved. 25 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Pimenta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cyril Champagne. Vivaldo Pimenta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Granville's goalkeeper Cyril Champagne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Wes Mathews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Golden State Warriors's Nélson Vilas Boas got a free kick in the 36th minute. Nélson Vilas Boas hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Landon Story left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granville fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vivaldo Pimenta got free with Cyril Champagne in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Landon Story in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lisandro Castelo Branco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cyril Champagne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vivaldo Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Golden State Warriors's Lisandro Castelo Branco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Golden State Warriors from getting a goal against them. 1-3 became the score in the 67th minute when Théophile Porter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lisandro Castelo Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hobert Davidson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Ramalho hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Pimenta in the 80th minute of play forced Granville's goalkeeper Cyril Champagne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Granville! If Théophile Porter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilídio Maia's late challenge caught a Granville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Lisandro Castelo Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Golden State Warriors's Aldo Ramalho got a free kick in the 94th minute. Wes Mathews scored 2-4 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lisandro Castelo Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Granville had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
