After 10 minutes, Gerardo Alfaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parres AFC and the Theozera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerardo Alfaro kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Baudelio Camino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Zé Carlos Favoretto hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Theozera's goalkeeper Luizinho da Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joan Arribas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joan Arribas got free with Luizinho da Silveira in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baudelio Camino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Joan Arribas took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luizinho da Silveira. Luizinho da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 31 played minutes Theozera got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Vargas. In the 34th minute, Parres AFC's Victor Roman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Victor Roman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Parres AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Victor Roman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Parres AFC! Amancio Carro's late challenge caught a Theozera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Carro helped the player get up and apologised. Amancio Carro hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Joan Arribas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joan Arribas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Parres AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! When Theozera's Didi de Sousa in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parres AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 59 played minutes Parres AFC got a freekick which was hit by Blas Iniesta. Jânio Santana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Baudelio Camino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 67 played minutes Theozera got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Medeiros. After 68 played minutes, Parres AFC's Jacinto Freire shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luizinho da Silveira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Parres AFC reached it. Luizinho da Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joan Arribas's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Didi de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Theozera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Didi de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jânio Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Theozera eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
