In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden State Warriors's goalkeeper Lisandro Castelo Branco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Golden State Warriors's Vivaldo Pimenta in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parres AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Lisandro Castelo Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bela Viqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joan Arribas came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Parres AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joan Arribas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Golden State Warriors booed when Parres AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Nobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aparício Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baudelio Camino having to interfere. When Vivaldo Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Golden State Warriors fans jumped to their feet. With an all-out effort, Golden State Warriors's Baudelio Camino threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vivaldo Pimenta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Vivaldo Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Baudelio Camino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joan Arribas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lisandro Castelo Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bela Viqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Castelo Branco made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Joan Arribas sent off a good shot on target. Golden State Warriors's Vivaldo Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
