In the 4th minute, Nélson Vilas Boas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Skurrie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Castelo Branco having to interfere. In the 7th minute, José Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilídio Maia in the 11th minute of play forced Vyktory Dragons's goalkeeper Duncan Kayrooz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilídio Maia hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Cornelius Wilson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Lisandro Castelo Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Isaac Skurrie took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lisandro Castelo Branco to make any attempt to save it. After 23 played minutes Golden State Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Nélson Vilas Boas. 28 minutes into the match, Vyktory Dragons's Isaac Skurrie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lisandro Castelo Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lisandro Castelo Branco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isaac Skurrie showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. When Vivaldo Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Golden State Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vivaldo Pimenta couldn't finish the play. Golden State Warriors's Vivaldo Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vivaldo Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Fonseca hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Skurrie to make the kick off. Claudemiro Lessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Kayrooz having to interfere. Hildeberto Portugal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vyktory Dragons's Isaac Skurrie got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Vyktory Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Jasmine Gwin. After a rather tough play, Vyktory Dragons's Benney Edwards got a free kick in the 75th minute. Vyktory Dragons's Duncan Kayrooz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palmiro Bezerra in the 76th minute of play. Jeremy Cochrane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Vyktory Dragons's zone, Ilídio Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duncan Kayrooz came out of the goal and Ilídio Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Claudemiro Lessa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 87 minutes of play, Golden State Warriors's Ilídio Maia made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duncan Kayrooz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, Vyktory Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Claudemiro Lessa came free, but Duncan Kayrooz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Claudemiro Lessa came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Golden State Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudemiro Lessa couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Golden State Warriors players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
