In the 45th minute, Gogo Elequemedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Rubio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Loramendi made a kick off. If Gogo Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Rubio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Elequemedo in the 59th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Leon Alvarez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tumbaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Mar de Ajó the free kick. Jonathan Rubio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Mar de Ajó. When Cesar Romildo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Defensores de Mar de Ajó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Romildo couldn't finish the play.
