After 13 played minutes Club Atlético Lea Papá got a freekick which was hit by Jules Noriega. Silvano Dominguez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jack Ocampo went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute, C. A. Atlanta's Federico Martxelin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 26thth minute of the game Marcelo Bertol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Lea Papá's Bruno Del Solar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Del Solar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Bertol in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Lea Papá booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Boniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Junior Ochoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Dominguez came out of the goal and Junior Ochoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Jules Noriega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience was convinced that Junior Ochoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvano Dominguez was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jules Noriega got free with Silvano Dominguez in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvano Dominguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Ochoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when Club Atlético Lea Papá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eude Padilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute Club Atlético Lea Papá were awarded a corner. Junior Ochoa went to the cornerflag to take it. Edgardo Del Rio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Junior Ochoa in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvano Dominguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Beliran during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The long shot by Junior Ochoa in the 82nd minute really tested Silvano Dominguez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Marcelo Bertol managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Bertol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Del Solar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eude Padilla kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Marcelo Armas kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Marcelo Armas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Dominguez having to make a save.
