Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Nordkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Kaj Hård could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Mikolaj Jerzyk made a huge save. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when spikarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Offendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Pankracy Malicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaj Hård had several of the Newcastle United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Mikolaj Jerzyk as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kaj Hård could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Mikolaj Jerzyk made a huge save. When Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an all-out effort, Newcastle United's Lars Norberg threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kajetan Kochniarczyk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
