In the 29thth minute of the game Erik Cantona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Tony Uchiha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Saga TF were awarded a corner. Brian Laudrup went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Saga TF's corner Brian Laudrup fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tony Uchiha quite easily take care of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Cristo Rey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joachim Forseth. The audience was convinced that Erik Cantona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tony Uchiha was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The supporters of R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И booed when Saga TF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Cantona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Rey took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joachim Forseth. Joachim Forseth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The throw-in from Leszek Milko in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Danilo Illart. Joachim Forseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Cristo Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Forseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Erik Cantona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Uchiha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Tony Uchiha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Cantona in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Saga TF's zone, Cristo Rey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joachim Forseth came out of the goal and Cristo Rey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И made a substitution. Oscar Österlund replaced Dacian Roşculeţ. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Delmiro Oto was substituted for Gerardo Chabier. In the 68th minute, Trond Gilde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Botnen came free, but Tony Uchiha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Cantona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Uchiha having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Rey in the 93rd minute of play forced Saga TF's goalkeeper Joachim Forseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
