In the 15th minute Thomas Müller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff got control of the ball when Sebastian Käller tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Sebastian Käller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jess Carnduff was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alemannia Aachen's Frans Baltzer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tonhão Rodrigues in the 37 minute of the game. Frans Baltzer got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lech Wawrukiewicz. Jess Carnduff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Käller in the 52nd minute of play. Jess Carnduff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Käller went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Kind of Blue made a substitution. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Kind of Blue from getting a goal against them.
