Joachim Forseth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saga TF's Joachim Forseth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Saga TF from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karol Magdziarz in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joachim Forseth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giannis Tsovolas kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Hampus Vall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Cantona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saga TF's Trond Gilde quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Isidro Urti, made in the 37th minute of the game. In the 45th minute of the game, Karol Magdziarz landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Santi Urbieta's late challenge caught a BK Tåfjutt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santi Urbieta helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Saga TF getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Santi Urbieta hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Viktor Dahlman made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, BK Tåfjutt's Jörn Barck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joachim Forseth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Joachim Forseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Dahlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joachim Forseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Barck in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, BK Tåfjutt's goalkeeper Hampus Vall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Cantona. After some careless play in the Saga TF defense, Viktor Dahlman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joachim Forseth. The Saga TF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joachim Forseth should have stopped the shot. BK Tåfjutt's Nildo Lendaa was substituted for Huang Wei Hong. Joachim Forseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Barck, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 85th minute Viktor Dahlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Forseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Arne Botnen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saga TF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Botnen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jörn Barck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, BK Tåfjutt's Isidro Urti got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in BK Tåfjutt's zone, Erik Cantona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hampus Vall came out of the goal and Erik Cantona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BK Tåfjutt had won after a very even match.
