If Marian Taşcău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mugurel Magheru in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcu Loghin saved Delphine Stars from getting behind. Simared -MM-'s Cazimir Curteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Chira in the 17th minute of play. Cazimir Curteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Taşcău in the 19th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Manole Bălășoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cazimir Curteanu was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Marian Taşcău left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 38thth minute of the game Emanuel Tiberiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simared -MM-'s Cazimir Curteanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vasile Chira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cazimir Curteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugurel Magheru got free with Marcu Loghin in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emanuel Tiberiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Curteanu having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mugurel Magheru was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Victor Mahonea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Delphine Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simared -MM- the free kick. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Victor Mahonea hit a great ball. Tiberiu Huștea hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes Simared -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Huștea. Marian Taşcău's late challenge caught a Simared -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Taşcău helped the player get up and apologised. Marian Taşcău hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Taşcău to maneuver through the defense. Ernest Enoaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Delphine Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Enoaia came free, but Marcu Loghin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Simared -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Huștea to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Simared -MM-'s Tiberiu Huștea got a free kick in the 84th minute. Although Simared -MM- had been in control for most of the match, Delphine Stars still came away with the win.
