An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Faria in the 7th minute of play forced Heider FC's goalkeeper Herwig Rosenbauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, CR Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Burkhard Wolf came free, but Doni Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Dito Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heider FC's Herwig Rosenbauer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herwig Rosenbauer came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by CR Flamengo's Marcelo Peixoto. But to his dismay, Marcelo Peixoto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a little luck, Heider FC's Herwig Rosenbauer got control of the ball when Marcelo Peixoto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herwig Rosenbauer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Dito Branco notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Heider FC's Herwig Rosenbauer. Herwig Rosenbauer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 39 minutes, Eugen Wittbusch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heider FC and the CR Flamengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Heider FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Eugen Wittbusch hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilian Faria got free with Herwig Rosenbauer in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute Eugen Wittbusch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dito Branco made a kick off. Burkhard Wolf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christof Drebes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Doni Neves made a huge save. Herwig Rosenbauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Faria in the 58th minute of the match. CR Flamengo's Marcelo Peixoto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wolf Erkiner in the 62 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Branco in the 65th minute of play forced Heider FC's goalkeeper Herwig Rosenbauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Vicente Paulista got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Régis Salgado. Herwig Rosenbauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Salgado in the 71st minute of play. Heider FC's Herwig Rosenbauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Salgado in the 71st minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, CR Flamengo's Dito Branco made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herwig Rosenbauer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heider FC made a substitution. Leonid Spieß replaced Burkhard Wolf. Doni Neves was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Leonid Spieß capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonid Spieß really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. Herwig Rosenbauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito Branco in the 85th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marko Kurtz during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Heider FC got a freekick which was hit by Marko Kurtz. It was beautiful to see CR Flamengo's Dalmo Trigo in action when he in the 88th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Doni Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Wittbusch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CR Flamengo fully deserved thier win.
