After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Robbie Wing managed to get in a good position for a shot. Welling FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robbie Wing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Carcanha SC's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Prince came free, but Dalmo Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Jack Nethercot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastien Bridge came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Carcanha SC's Sydney do Nascimento. But to his dismay, Sydney do Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Robbie Wing came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Welling FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robbie Wing couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Carcanha SC's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie Wing came free, but Dalmo Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Junior Prince who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carcanha SC's Dalmo Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Doni Ortiz's late challenge caught a Welling FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doni Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Carcanha SC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Doni Ortiz hit a great ball. Robbie Wing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dalmo Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sydney do Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Carcanha SC's Claudinei Reis got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Carcanha SC's Dalmo Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Prince in the 54th minute of play. Henrique Lopes hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Junior Prince struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. In the 73rd minute Junior Prince shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sydney do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastien Bridge having to interfere. Sydney do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Junior Prince had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Dalmo Peixoto managed to avoid a goal in the 98thth minute, when Welling FC's Robbie Wing fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
