Legiaspor's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 15 minutes into the match, Waldemar Falke notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Alcira's Jeronimo Seme. Jeronimo Seme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iwan Falkowski succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witomir Czeszyk in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Seme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Waldemar Falke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Seme was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Gaudencio Romildo charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaudencio Romildo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Alcira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Romildo to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Chorache kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Gaudencio Romildo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legiaspor's Antoni Robak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Witomir Czeszyk made a precise shot to the right of Jeronimo Seme. Alcira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Gaudencio Romildo was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jeronimo Seme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslaw Oryl, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Gagriel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeronimo Seme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Falkowski in the 52nd minute of play. Waldemar Falke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iwan Falkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes Legiaspor got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Czeszyk. Witomir Czeszyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeronimo Seme having to make a save. Iwan Falkowski struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jeronimo Seme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legiaspor. Witomir Czeszyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alcira's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Iwan Falkowski scored to the left of an out of position Jeronimo Seme, making the score, 0-6. Waldemar Falke's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Jeronimo Seme skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alcira's Bartolo Baleren got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Alcira's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Waldemar Falke fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Waldemar Falke charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With an all-out effort, Legiaspor's Jeronimo Seme threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iwan Falkowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
