The corner led Soroca F.C.'s Amador Venceslao to fire away a dangerous shot which Nestor Cortez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dan Wennerqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Perico's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristobal Lia during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Xu Ran Zhen got a free kick in the 71st minute. Lobos de Carelia's Amancio Cheche was substituted for Cristobal Lia.
