Emilio Munio came out of the goal and Arbnor Alikaj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emilio Munio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jashar Selamaj in the 23rd minute of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ac Milan's goalkeeper Everardo Mingo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Ac Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Colas came free, but Everardo Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Colas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Mingo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ac Milan defense, Federico Colas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Mingo. The Ac Milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Mingo should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jashar Selamaj made a kick off.
