The referee showed Tobias Librado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, one of VIEDMA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VIEDMA FC. Washington Peixoto scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvestre Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oséas Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Ramond, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, VIEDMA FC's goalkeeper Silvestre Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandrinho Cunha. In the 19th match minute, VIEDMA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Sandrinho Cunha could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Silvestre Machado however easily saved by the left post. 23 minutes into the match, VIEDMA FC's Robustiano Ramond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oséas Baptista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silvestre Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to VIEDMA FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ignacio Quirce hit a great ball. Silvestre Machado was a little too slow when Washington Peixoto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-0. Sandrinho Cunha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Silvestre Machado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Washington Peixoto made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Machado. VIEDMA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Ronaldão Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Washington Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Washington Peixoto put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Silvestre Machado. Sandrinho Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Machado having to interfere. After 63 played minutes VIEDMA FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Veremundo. Washington Peixoto took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvestre Machado. Silvestre Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Silvestre Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Tagliente, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, VIEDMA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Peixoto came free, but Silvestre Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Militros F.C.'s Sandrinho Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 75th minute, Washington Peixoto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvestre Machado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Washington Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Robustiano Ramond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Militros F.C.'s Washington Peixoto in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VIEDMA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Sandrinho Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Machado having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Militros F.C. had played much better football throughout.
