Vágner Arósio's late challenge caught a Academia B.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Nóbrega in the 66th minute of play forced Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Vicente Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Academia B.F.'s Primo Sans made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Academia B.F. made a substitution. Michel Totti replaced Primo Sans. Academia B.F.'s João Francisco Fontes was substituted for Wiliam Carioca. Guilherme do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Vicente Catarinense made a huge save. If Michel Totti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of VARGINHA FC booed when Academia B.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Academia B.F. fully deserved thier win.
