Pankracy Skoroda kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Grêmio FBPA's Valdir de Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucjan Polakowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Waclaw Rakowski struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rui Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agresywne Leniwce. Valdir de Alcântara took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucjan Polakowski. Lucjan Polakowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 24 minutes into the game, Valdir de Alcântara lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Lucjan Polakowski. Valdir de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute, Dariusz Jaroszewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdir de Alcântara had several of the Agresywne Leniwce's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Lucjan Polakowski as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Grêmio FBPA fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Grêmio FBPA's Valdir de Alcântara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Agresywne Leniwce's Lucjan Polakowski got control of the ball when Gildo Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdir de Alcântara made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Agresywne Leniwce's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir de Alcântara came free, but Lucjan Polakowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agresywne Leniwce's Lucjan Polakowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo Fantini in the 58th minute of play. After 63 minutes, Claudinho Zonta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio FBPA and the Agresywne Leniwce players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Grêmio FBPA's Claudinho Zonta got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Lucjan Polakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Amadeu Pitta made a great header on Grêmio FBPA's corner, it was just that Agresywne Leniwce's Lucjan Polakowski managed to reach the ball for a save. With an all-out effort, Agresywne Leniwce's Rui Varela threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Waclaw Rakowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Valdir de Alcântara sped through Agresywne Leniwce's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucjan Polakowski. Lucjan Polakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir de Alcântara in the 75th minute of play. When Grêmio FBPA's Valdir de Alcântara in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lucjan Polakowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Valdir de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Grêmio FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdir de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Grêmio FBPA fully deserved thier win.
