Waldir Urbano might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brice Leach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldir Urbano ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Coffman in the 46th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Lee Coffman made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Waldir Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tasso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The supporters of Varennes booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Sequeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silverio Corderun made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Irving Dugan sent off a good shot on target. Varennes's Adolphe Murdock was substituted for Brenton Carrasco. Varennes were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Tasso FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Randell McCullough took the corner. Brice Leach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normando Fiúza in the 73rd minute of the match.
