Domingo Lopez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörgen Gummeson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes Garphyttan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daron Davidson who took care of the corner kick. The corner led El Canalla de Chicago's Daron Davidson to fire away a dangerous shot which Jörgen Gummeson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With an all-out effort, El Canalla de Chicago's Jörgen Gummeson threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Armando Leobardo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jude Vang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Käcker in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Egon Bratt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Vang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garphyttan's Jörgen Gummeson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Leobardo in the 31st minute of play. Jude Vang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ola Nordin in the 34th minute of play. El Canalla de Chicago's Daron Davidson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jörgen Gummeson but with some difficulty. Bernt Nordmark hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Jörgen Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Lopez in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Hagström in the 45th minute of play forced El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Jude Vang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingo Lopez to strike the kick off in the second half. Tobias Mårtensson kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Daron Davidson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jörgen Gummeson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0.
