Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrick Neiva started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Kyoto Sanga F.C. defense, Patrick Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mose Allado. The Kyoto Sanga F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mose Allado should have stopped the shot. Pards Daoang kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Tiaguinho da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pards Daoang in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Kaberks Galam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kyoto Sanga F.C. and the Xapetuba Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kyoto Sanga F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kaberks Galam hit a great ball. Patrick Neiva took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mose Allado. Mose Allado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Vivaldo Paes scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mose Allado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 minutes of play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Patrick Neiva made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mose Allado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Jacinto Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Paraíba in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mose Allado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacinto Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Paraíba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kyoto Sanga F.C. booed when Xapetuba Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pards Daoang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Marcelo Coutinho got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Mose Allado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Paraíba in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Xapetuba Futebol Clube were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrosio Amurao was the one to do the kick off. Mose Allado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joselito Licuanan kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Marcelo Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mose Allado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mose Allado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Paraíba went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Mose Allado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Neiva's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pards Daoang in the 70th minute of play forced Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Tiaguinho da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Amurao might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiaguinho da Cunha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ambrosio Amurao ran back to his position shaking his head. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Aílton Cearense was substituted for Patrick Neiva. Aílton Cearense scored 0-6 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mose Allado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute, Vivaldo Paes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mose Allado. The goal made the score 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Amurao in the 89th minute of play forced Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Tiaguinho da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s Mose Allado got control of the ball when Jacinto Paraíba tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Kyoto Sanga F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Galang to maneuver through the defense. When Amauri de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Xapetuba Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amauri de Lima couldn't finish the play. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Tiaguinho da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pards Daoang in the 96th minute of play. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
