Benito Naldo had several of the CSD Concepción's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Nicolás Villamil as he didn't even see the shot coming. Daud Gazale kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. CSD Concepción's Nicolás Villamil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save CSD Concepción from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the game, Gualberto Abbatte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Severiano Rafe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Madison's goal looked a bit too open when Salomone Liendo came free, but Severiano Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Naldo's late challenge caught a CSD Concepción's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Naldo helped the player get up and apologised. Severiano Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomone Liendo in the 24th minute of the match. If Salomone Liendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The CSD Concepción fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when CSD Concepción's Gualberto Abbatte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CSD Concepción's Juanjo Campaña got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Benito Naldo made the kick off in the second half. Severiano Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomone Liendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Salomone Liendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Madison getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ciriaco Blasi hit a great ball. In the last second Severiano Rafe throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gualberto Abbatte in the 60thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. CSD Concepción's Carlos Saúl Quirch was substituted for Daud Gazale. CSD Concepción's Gabriel Vargas was substituted for Gualberto Abbatte. In the 64th minute of the match CSD Concepción got a corner. Madison's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juanjo Campaña ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Inocencio Gacitúa got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-4. 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, one of Madison:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Madison. Madison's Severiano Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Lacunza in the 77th minute of play. Severiano Rafe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Lacunza's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 86th match minute, Madison was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Vedillo to maneuver through the defense. When CSD Concepción's Erasmo Lacunza in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Salomone Liendo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Madison's Domingo Vedillo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nemesio Basaure in the 97 minute of the game. Domingo Vedillo charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingo Vedillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Madison's Domingo Vedillo got a free kick in the 97th minute.
