Dumitru Șişman kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donat Collier in the 10th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Jarbas Capixaba slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sabino Cerredo. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Juvenal Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusko Zubicoeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Nova Soccer's Dumitru Șişman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juvenal Sergipano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 29th minute Donat Collier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Donat Collier came free, but Juvenal Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabino Cerredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarbas Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's Dumitru Șişman got a free kick in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Tande came free, but Sabino Cerredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nova Soccer's Sabino Cerredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas Capixaba in the 47th minute of play.

When José Luis Carranza came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Nova Soccer fans jumped to their feet. The tension between the Nova Soccer and the CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's German Galban got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Sabino Cerredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Kiko Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiko Tande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabino Cerredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jânio Prado hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Piero Quispe struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Juvenal Sergipano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Soccer. There was no doubt that CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE were the better team. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
