The corner ended in Valdir Neves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's Hacı Onay did a great save. If Can Taykurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Can Taykurt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Faria in the 89th minute of play forced BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's goalkeeper Hacı Onay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Osmar de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Despite being the better team, Goiás Esporte Clube failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
