An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Meder in the 19th minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Rod Devlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Gogo Oriol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gavião Kyikatejê's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riquelme Fútbol Club the free kick. A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gogo Oriol hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Vítor Bittencourt in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atila Edu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eduardo Salvi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Vítor Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atila Edu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Bittencourt in the 42nd minute of play forced Riquelme Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Atila Edu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavião Kyikatejê's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Leo Wiberg scored to the left of an out of position Rod Devlin, making the score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Wiberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rod Devlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Salvi in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Pablo Meder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rod Devlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 57 minutes into the match, Leo Wiberg notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Gavião Kyikatejê's Rod Devlin. Rod Devlin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Davie McWhirters short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Atila Edu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Colin Booth during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rod Devlin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leo Wiberg went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Riquelme Fútbol Club's Atila Edu got control of the ball when Davie McWhirter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rod Devlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Wiberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Pablo Meder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Rod Devlin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Wiberg during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that João Vítor Bittencourt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atila Edu was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. João Vítor Bittencourt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atila Edu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Vítor Bittencourt in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atila Edu saved Riquelme Fútbol Club from getting behind.
