Paul Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitaliy Eliseev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 유 길 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Björck, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Vitaliy Eliseev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Спартак fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, Спартак's 유 길 got control of the ball when Christopher Lundin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Ebi Smolarek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Спартак's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Mackan United the free kick. After 19 played minutes Спартак got a freekick which was hit by Ebi Smolarek. The audience was convinced that Dag Linqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 유 길 was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Paul Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy Eliseev, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Спартак's 유 길 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Спартак from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy Eliseev in the 24th minute of play forced FC Mackan United's goalkeeper Paul Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Mackan United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michel Dalberg in the 29th minute. The corner led FC Mackan United's Michel Dalberg to fire away a dangerous shot which 유 길 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 유 길 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Björck, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Dag Linqvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 유 길. The goal made the score 1-1. After 38 played minutes Спартак got a freekick which was hit by Ghazi Al Herz. A collision led to Спартак getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Clay Addison hit a great ball. Michel Dalberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Спартак's 유 길 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Спартак from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC Mackan United booed when Спартак was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Mustakivi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christopher Lundin to make the kick off. Paul Wallin made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ebi Smolarek sent off a good shot on target. Clay Addison charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clay Addison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, Спартак was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clay Addison to maneuver through the defense. Ebi Smolarek struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Paul Wallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Спартак. The long shot by Ghazi Al Herz in the 64th minute really tested Paul Wallin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Спартак were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after FC Mackan United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Timofey Buznikin took the corner. The corner led Спартак's Timofey Buznikin to fire away a dangerous shot which Paul Wallin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Vitaliy Eliseev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, FC Mackan United's Christopher Lundin got a free kick in the 70th minute. Paul Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Mustakivi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Mustakivi in the 74th minute of play. Paul Wallin came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Спартак's Vitaliy Eliseev. But to his dismay, Vitaliy Eliseev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Paul Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy Eliseev, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. FC Mackan United's Paul Wallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC Mackan United from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute Vitaliy Eliseev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timofey Buznikin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paul Wallin came out and tried to block the shot, but Timofey Buznikin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 96th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Спартак were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC Mackan United side.
