Raymundo George was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin Dahlin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 14 minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Bo Sillén was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NDG Fury FC the free kick. In the 19th minute, Bo Sillén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NDG Fury FC's Raymundo George proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save NDG Fury FC from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute Lite Finare Lite Bättre were awarded a corner. Bo Sillén went to the cornerflag to take it. Ivar Utfal kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. During the 26th minute of the match Bo Sillén completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bo Sillén a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bo Sillén hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Chet Cho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. John Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Martin Dahlin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonard Göransson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. John Bergström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chet Cho in the 43rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Lite Finare Lite Bättre defense, Antoine Lange kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Bergström. The Lite Finare Lite Bättre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Bergström should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chet Cho was the one to do the kick off. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's John Bergström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Lite Finare Lite Bättre from getting a goal against them. Jude Théberge struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. John Bergström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NDG Fury FC. John Bergström came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by NDG Fury FC's Antoine Lange. But to his dismay, Antoine Lange quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Fabian Avery might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over John Bergström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Avery ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute Martin Dahlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymundo George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in NDG Fury FC's zone, Martin Dahlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raymundo George came out of the goal and Martin Dahlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Winfred Dickinson during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Winfred Dickinson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chet Cho got free with John Bergström in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Chet Cho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of John Bergström, 3-4. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Leonard Göransson got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Leonard Göransson off the ground. Leonard Göransson kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Lite Finare Lite Bättre booed when NDG Fury FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chet Cho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Tim Sjögren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
