An unexpectedly hard shot by Agamenón Ruiz in the 12th minute of play forced Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goalkeeper Eliseo Elija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Salud y República's corner Rodrigo Dominguez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eliseo Elija quite easily take care of the ball. Gerardo Haritz struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Alvino Galnares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores del Tiki Tiki. Tomas Viviano's late challenge caught a Salud y República's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Viviano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Defensores del Tiki Tiki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Viviano to maneuver through the defense. After 23 minutes of play, Salud y República's Adulfo Teresa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Elija was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodoro Lluciano kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Luis-Miguel Jubera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Agamenón Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Elija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agamenón Ruiz took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Elija. Eliseo Elija dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Luis-Miguel Jubera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseo Elija. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis-Miguel Jubera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

Defensores del Tiki Tiki made a substitution. Felipe Lopes replaced Bell Stringer. A collision led to Salud y República getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rodrigo Dominguez hit a great ball. Agamenón Ruiz hit a great ball. The supporters of Salud y República booed when Defensores del Tiki Tiki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Eliseo Elija proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores del Tiki Tiki from getting a goal against them. The Salud y República supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Salud y República would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
